Beginner Agile Course Outline
This agile course is aimed at explaining what the hype around agile is and why it is the new preferred methodology to use for projects at the moment. In this beginners agile course, we take a look at the agile principles, values and practices and focus on Scrum & Lean as a method / framework for running Agile projects or teams. This agile course is aimed at clarifying how agile can fit into your organisation currently.
What are the main roles in a typical Scrum set-up and how they keep agile alive in a company. More specifically we focus on the Product Owner and how this role influences an agile team and the success of a project. Here we also challenge the theoretically defined agile roles and we aim to bring an understanding of how agile fits into typical organisational roles. The Product Owner is the new age term for a focused MD.
Agile organisational structures
What is the ideal organisational structure to support the successful adoption of agile within your organisation? Is your focus on transforming your whole organisation or are you hoping to get some benefits by implementing agile only within delivery teams? This will also influence what the structure looks like. If you focus on a team level only, then you can stick with the theory as this will give you enough to start with. Maybe you can learn from other experienced agile transformation specialists as you are moving into a phase where you are experiencing the true challenges of moving and organisation onto agile.
